一眼看懂考試 The exam in one glance

綜合招聘考試（CRE）由三張獨立試卷組成，每張 45 分鐘、全為多項選擇題。可只考一兩張，也可補考；及格成績（2006 年 12 月起）永久有效，而且答錯不扣分。

The CRE is three separate 45-minute, multiple-choice papers. Take one, two, or all three, retake any of them, and a pass never expires (for results from December 2006 onward). There is no penalty for wrong answers.

語文卷二級為較高等級；能力傾向測試只分「及格／不及格」。 Level 2 is the higher language grade. The Aptitude Test is reported only as Pass or Fail.

能力傾向測試包含五種題型：演繹推理、Verbal Reasoning（英文）、Numerical Reasoning、Data Sufficiency，以及圖表資料判讀。 The Aptitude Test mixes five types: Deductive Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning (English), Numerical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, and Interpretation of Tables & Graphs.

2026 年 CRE 考試安排 CRE arrangements in 2026

香港考試：2026 年 10 月 3 日。 公務員事務局已公布本輪安排；如有需要，部分考生可能獲安排於 10 月內其他日期應試。香港場報名已於 8 月 7 日晚上 11 時 59 分截止，現時不是本輪香港場的報名期。

Hong Kong examination: 3 October 2026. Arrangements for this round have been announced. If necessary, some candidates may be assigned another date in October. Applications for the Hong Kong sitting closed at 11:59 p.m. on 7 August; this application window is no longer open.

Examination notifications: 14–20 September. Registered candidates should check their registered email address and spam folder. Those who have not received a notification by 21 September should contact the Civil Service Examinations Unit as instructed in the official notice. Use the individual notification for the venue, time and candidate instructions.

海外考試：暫定 2026 年 12 月 5 日。 海外場與香港場的報名安排不同；目前公布的海外場申請期為 9 月 12 日至 10 月 2 日。請先查看官方頁面所列城市、資格及申請詳情，不要將海外場申請期當成香港 10 月場仍可報名。

Overseas examination: tentatively 5 December 2026. The published overseas application period is 12 September–2 October. Check the official page for the examination cities, eligibility and application details. This is not a reopening of applications for the October Hong Kong sitting.

考試日 10 大貼士 10 test-day tips

1. 不留空白——本試不設扣分 Never leave a blank — there is no negative marking
   答錯不扣分，留空才是唯一「必輸」的選擇。最後兩分鐘，把所有未答題目都填上——盲猜也有兩三成機會中。
   Wrong answers cost nothing, so an empty bubble is the only truly wrong move. In your final two minutes, fill in every remaining question — even a blind guess has a 20–25% chance.
2. 入場前先算好每題時間 Do the per-question maths before you sit down
   英文卷每題約 67 秒、中文卷約 60 秒、能力傾向約 77 秒。事先熟習節奏；若一題超過約 1.5 倍時間，就先標記、跳過。
   UE gives ~67 seconds a question, UC ~60, AT ~77. Feel that rhythm in advance. If a question takes more than about 1.5× its share, mark it and move on.
3. 時間分配是練習策略，不是固定應試規則 Timing advice is a practice strategy, not a fixed examination rule
   先用一份限時練習記錄自己在哪類題目花最多時間，再比較不同作答次序。遇到暫時卡住的題目，可按試卷規則及自己的練習結果決定是否先跳過。不要將某一類題目一律留到最後，或把固定作答比例當成合格門檻。
   Use a timed practice attempt to identify which question types take you longest, then compare different approaches. When stuck, decide whether to move on according to the paper's rules and what you have learned from practice. Do not assume one section should always come last or that a fixed proportion of attempted questions guarantees a pass.
4. 計算機只限能力傾向卷，且必須靜音型 Bring a calculator — but only a silent one, for the Aptitude Test only
   計算機只准在能力傾向測試使用，且須為無線、靜音，不設列印、繪圖、文字顯示或字典功能。可程式或手機計算機有機會被視為違規，切勿冒險。
   Calculators are permitted only in AT. It must be cordless and silent, with no printing, no graphic or word display, and no dictionary function. A programmable or phone calculator can get you flagged — don't risk it.
5. 戴指針錶，別戴智能錶 Wear an analog watch — the smartwatch stays home
   所有電子裝置都要關掉，智能手錶亦屬電子裝置。試場時鐘可能在你身後，桌上一隻安靜的指針錶最可靠。
   All electronic devices must be off, and a smartwatch is electronic. The wall clock might be behind you; a quiet analog watch on your desk is the safest pacer.
6. 帶身份證，並記住座位號碼 Bring your HKID, and know your seat number
   監考員會即場核對你的身份證，所以要帶回報名時所用的那張。座位號碼會以電郵通知——先記下，到場就能快速找到座位，不必臨場慌張。
   Invigilators check your ID on the spot, so bring the exact one you registered with. Your seat number arrives by email — note it beforehand so you can find your desk fast instead of scrambling when you walk in.
7. 自備 2B 鉛筆——答題紙由機器閱讀 Bring your own 2B pencils — the sheet is machine-read
   答題紙是 OMR 填格式。HB 鉛筆、太淡的填塗或擦不乾淨的改動都會被誤讀。兩支削好的 2B 鉛筆加乾淨橡皮擦，守住你每一分。
   Answer sheets are OMR bubbles. HB pencils, faint marks, or half-erased changes get misread. Two sharpened 2B pencils and a clean eraser protect every mark you earn.
8. 小心填格——錯一格會連環出錯 Guard your bubbling — one slip cascades
   若在試題紙上跳過一題卻沒在答題紙上跳過，之後每個答案都會順移一行。每做幾題就核對題號與填格行數；要跳題就在試題紙上圈起來。
   Skip a question on the paper but not on the answer sheet, and every answer after it shifts down a row. Every few questions, check the question number matches the row you're filling; if you skip one, circle it on the question paper.
9. 主攻最弱一卷——一次及格，終身有效 Attack your weakest paper — one clean pass is forever
   你不必一次考齊三卷，2006 年 12 月起的及格成績永久有效。把精力放在最弱的一卷；即使某卷考得不順，也別慌——它不影響其他卷。
   You don't need all three in one sitting, and passes from Dec 2006 onward never expire. Put your energy into your weakest paper, and if one paper feels rough on the day, don't spiral — it doesn't touch the others.
10. 提早 30–45 分鐘到場，先熟習環境 Arrive 30–45 minutes early and scope the room
    試場多在陌生的大學禮堂。先弄清港鐵出口、找到座位、去洗手間、安定心神，別讓匆忙進場毀了第一卷。
    Centres are often unfamiliar university halls. Know the MTR exit, find your seat, use the toilet, and settle your nerves before the clock starts — a rushed arrival wrecks your first paper.

先從錯題中找出最常見的原因： Identify the most common reason for your mistakes:

• 概念未清楚： 看完解說後，用自己的說話寫出解題關鍵，再做一道同類題。
  An unclear concept: Explain the key step in your own words, then try another question of the same type.
• 漏看條件： 標出遺漏的字眼、數字或限制，記下下次要先核對甚麼。
  A missed condition: Mark the overlooked words, numbers or restrictions and note what to check next time.
• 時間不足： 記錄卡住的題型，另做一次限時練習，比較作答次序。
  Time pressure: Record where you slowed down and compare approaches in another timed attempt.

下一次練習只選一個重點，例如「先列齊條件才看選項」。這比只比較兩次總分，更容易看出自己的方法有沒有改善。以上是自習建議，並非合格保證。

Choose one focus for the next practice, such as listing all conditions before examining the options. This makes it easier to assess your method instead of only comparing total scores. These are self-study suggestions, not a guarantee of passing.

甚麼是綜合招聘考試（CRE）？ What is the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)?

CRE 是香港政府招聘學位／專業程度公務員職位的統一測試，包含英文運用、中文運用及能力傾向測試三張獨立試卷。

The CRE is Hong Kong's standardised test for degree- or professional-grade civil service jobs. It has three separate papers: Use of English, Use of Chinese, and the Aptitude Test.

CRE 有幾多張卷？每張幾長？ How many papers does the CRE have, and how long is each?

三張卷，每張 45 分鐘、全為多項選擇題：英文運用 40 題、中文運用 45 題、能力傾向測試 35 題。

Three papers, each 45 minutes and all multiple-choice: Use of English (40 questions), Use of Chinese (45 questions), and the Aptitude Test (35 questions).

答錯會扣分嗎？ Is there negative marking on the CRE?

不會。CRE 不設倒扣分，所以每一題都應作答，不肯定時也應猜一個答案，切勿留空。

No. The CRE has no negative marking, so you should answer every question and guess when unsure — never leave a blank.

CRE 如何評級？成績有效期多久？ How is the CRE graded, and how long are results valid?

英文及中文運用分為二級、一級或不及格（二級最高）；能力傾向測試只分及格或不及格。2006 年 12 月起取得的及格成績永久有效。

Use of English and Use of Chinese are graded Level 2, Level 1, or Fail (Level 2 is highest). The Aptitude Test is Pass or Fail. Passing results obtained from December 2006 onward are valid permanently.

能力傾向測試考甚麼？ What does the Aptitude Test cover?

五種題型：演繹推理、Verbal Reasoning（英文）、Numerical Reasoning、Data Sufficiency，以及圖表資料判讀。重點是邏輯推理而非艱深計算。

Five question types: Deductive Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning (English), Numerical Reasoning, Data Sufficiency, and Interpretation of Tables & Graphs. It rewards logical reasoning rather than heavy calculation.
